Treasure Island

Me an’ the rest of the crew are about to embark on a dangerous adventure.  We set sail for Treasure Island. Many have tried to reach this incredible paradise, but all have failed. Even a single diamond or several gold coins would make you the richest person on Earth.

Before we started our adventure, we had to pack all of our cargo on the most amazing ship I had ever seen. It had hand crafted wood, a dining room, more than 100 beds, an’ much more.

When we had everything settled, we were off. Little did we know we would have a few troubles on the way. It would be tougher than we thought. Our first surprise was when we got attacked by a giant squid! It shook the whole ship an’ several people were wounded. Then I had an idea. If we shot so many cannonballs at it, the monster would probably go away. Everybody shot so many that we suddenly out of cannonballs. Thankfully the giant squid finally swam away. I knew I would never forget that amazing experience where I almost lost my life.

Our next trouble was when we crashed into a large boulder. It was the largest boulder I had ever seen! We turned the ship so many ways that in the end we got loose.

At last all of us made it to Treasure Island. We then had another surprise. When we got there there was no more treasure! Some other pirates took it way before we could reach it.

Everyone was upset that we went so far and found nothing. Then all of a sudden I discovered a mysterious cave. I walked slowly in it an' discovered a pile as big as a mountain of treasure. I then went to tell everyone else an' we all cheered and celebrated. All of us definitely knew it was the most outrageous thing they had ever done. At least it was worth it.

My Lucky Day

Yesterday was the luckiest day of my life. At school we did nothing but have fun.

We had no work at all and got to play video games and watch movies. When it was lunchtime the lunch ladies gave everybody so much pizza that we had stomachaches. Then the next thing we knew school was already over.

When my sister and I got home, my parents told me that I did not have to do any chores and we could go to the mall. They gave us so much money I knew I could not spend it all. Then I called my friends Shelby, Kelsey, and Jessica and asked them if they wanted to go shopping. They said they would be there in a flash.

When we got there we had the most amazing time .We bought so many clothes that we each had a new wardrobe. It was incredible. My friends and I had so much fun. We talked, laughed, and had so much fun.

Next we went to the movies and ate popcorn. We laughed, cried, and even got scared.  All of us had an incredible time.

When I got home my mom then said that I could have a slumber party. It was awesome. Everyone stayed up all night long. We told scary stories , ate more junkfood, and played board games.

The next thing I knew I heard a radio. I woke up and realized that  it was only a dream. Too bad it really didn’t happen.

The Boy Who Flew (summary)

Two men live on the island kingdom of Crete. They had a plan to leave the island. If they could not travel by water, they would travel by air. He got seagull feathers and beeswax for him and his son. Before they left, they practiced on flying. When they were ready they flew off of the island. On the way, his father told him not to go too high or too low. His son did not listen and ended up drowning. This story was unusual but very interesting.
